This data is sent through Formspree and stored temporarily to respond to your inquiry.

2.2. Cookies and local storage

This site does not use cookies. Only if you play the BUG RUN mini-game, your browser stores (local storage, it never leaves your device):

gs-bugrun-best: your best score
gs-bugrun-name: the last name you used on the leaderboard
gs-bugrun-muted: whether you muted the sound

This is technical storage you request yourself by playing, so it does not require consent. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

2.3. Mini-game ranking

If you play the BUG RUN mini-game, the ranking is handled on this site’s own server:

When each run starts: an anonymous identifier derived from your IP (irreversible hash) to prevent cheating and abuse. It is deleted after 24 hours.
Only if you choose to save your score: the name you pick (3-12 letters or numbers) and the score, publicly visible in the ranking. Avoid your real name if you don’t want it shown.

Your IP is never stored in plain text or shared with third parties.

2.4. Web analytics

To know how many people visit the site and which sections they find useful, I use Umami, a cookie-free analytics tool:

It does not use cookies or store anything in your browser.
It does not collect personal data or identify you: only aggregated statistics (page views, country, device type and browser, referring site).
It counts actions such as downloading the CV or sending the form, never their content.

The statistics are processed by Umami Software, Inc. (United States) as data processor. Since nothing that identifies you is collected, no personal data is transferred.

3. Purpose of Processing

The collected data is used exclusively for:

Responding to your inquiries sent through the contact form
Remembering your best score and mini-game preferences, only in your browser
Producing anonymous usage statistics for the site (Umami, cookie-free)

4. Legal Basis

The processing of your data is based on:

Consent: For the contact form, based on your explicit consent when submitting the form
Legitimate interest: For the mini-game technical storage, used only if you play
Legitimate interest: for anonymous web analytics, which uses no cookies and cannot identify you

5. Data Retention

Contact form data is retained for the time necessary to respond to your inquiry and, where applicable, for legally established periods.

The mini-game local storage:
